This Privacy Policy covers both the touchgrounds.com website and the Touch Grounds mobile app for iOS and Android. Touch Grounds helps you plan and track a daily cafe to work from. We collect only what the app needs to do that, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

1. Information We Collect

In the mobile app:

• Email address, used to sign you in with a one-time magic link and to identify your account. Touch Grounds is invite-only; we email you a login link and nothing else unless you ask.
• Content you create: the cafes and venues you add, your daily check-ins, and any private notes or reviews you write. This is stored so the app can show you your schedule and history across devices.
• Approximate or precise location, only when you open the Nearby feature and grant permission. It is used to sort your own saved venues by distance. We do not track your location in the background, and we do not store your live position; the only location we save is a pin you deliberately attach to a venue you add.

On the website:

• Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site.
• The email address you submit if you ask us to send you the app download link.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To sign you in and keep your account and schedule available
• To provide the core features: your daily cafe, the visit ledger, favorites, and the Nearby distance sort
• To send you your login link and respond to your emails
• To keep the service reliable and secure

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

3. Third Parties

We use a small set of service providers to run Touch Grounds: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Resend (sending your login emails), and basic analytics. They process data only to provide these services and under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your information to third parties.

4. Data Retention and Your Choices

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data (email, venues, visits, notes) at any time by emailing us, and we will remove it. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; the Nearby feature simply stops sorting by distance.

5. Children

Touch Grounds is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
